Hope. Family. Pride.

We believe that providing opportunities to youth is the best way to break the cycle of hardship and hopelessness that afflicts young people in the Kansas City urban core.

Though our service offerings are myriad, the outcomes of our efforts seek to bolster these goals:

  • Give Hope to Youth by providing opportunities, education and access to a world beyond their front porches
  • Strengthen Families with job training and prospects as well as initiatives to improve the health, safety and security of the people we serve
  • Creating Neighborhood and Pride of Ownership by providing the foundation for a sense of community–a place that is more safe, visually appealing and reflective of the positive values of the community

Put simply, we work with this neighborhood to continue to take back their front porches so they may be used for the purpose they were built: as a safe gathering place for children, families and neighbors where hopes can be shared and dreams can be dreamed. We welcome your involvement and financial support.
